Complete guide to using your VPN account
1 Download OpenVPN Client
2 Get Your VPN Profile
After purchasing a VPN plan:
- Go to your Dashboard
- Find your active VPN account
- Click "Download .ovpn" button
- Save the file to your device
Note: Each VPN account has a unique .ovpn file with your personal certificates.
3 Import VPN Profile
Windows/Mac:
- Open OpenVPN Connect
- Click "Import" or "+"
- Select your .ovpn file
- Profile will be added automatically
Android/iOS:
- Open OpenVPN Connect app
- Tap "+" to add profile
- Choose "File" option
- Select downloaded .ovpn file
4 Connect to VPN
To connect to your VPN:
- Open OpenVPN Connect
- Find your imported profile
- Toggle the switch to "ON" or click "Connect"
- Wait for "Connected" status
Success! Your internet traffic is now encrypted and secure.
Troubleshooting
- Check your internet connection
- Try different server (if available)
- Restart OpenVPN Connect app
- Re-download .ovpn file from dashboard
- Ensure you downloaded the complete file
- Check file is not corrupted
- Try sharing file to OpenVPN Connect directly
- Contact support if problem persists
- VPN may add slight latency (normal)
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting
- Check if server is overloaded
- Contact support for server recommendations
